DISCOVER HONDURAS 

​Honduras is located in the heart of Central America, just a 2-3 hour flight from the United States. Its diverse landscape offers a multitude of activity options for visitors, from Caribbean white sand beaches and lush rain forests to rugged mountains and calm lakes.

Laid-back, low-profile Honduras is one of Central America's largely unknown tourist destinations. A recent proliferation of domestic flights has opened up the Bay Islands and the major cities of La Ceiba, Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula. Buses, taxis and dug-out canoes provide other transport options. The Maya city of Copan is a UNESCO-designated heritage site with a ball court, an Acropolis and a Hieroglyphic Stairway. Other sights include El Cusuco National Cloud Forest Park, home to quetzal birds.

Honduras is a tropical paradise attracting many tourists every year to its gorgeous islands, lush rainforests and picturesque mountains.
